Spearmint Green

This weekend, I was invited to my first wedding. I was so excited, as it's something that I've never gotten the chance to experience before. I rarely get the opportunity to really dress up, and because of that, this spearmint green jumper has been sitting in my closet, still in bag, since the day I bought it (2 months ago). But finally, the time came for me to wear it!

Boyish Ways

Notice anything different??...I'll wait...yup...that's right, I cut my hair! I'm pretty much bald and I love it! Lately, I've been feeling bored and honestly, tired of my hair. As each day went by, I no longer felt the need nor want to wake up earlier each day just so that I could figure out what to do with my ever so, seemingly complicated hair.  I thought it was just about that time to hit the refresh button on my life. So I got a pixie cut! Just like my hair, all my worries and sleepless nights spent doing my hair seemed to fall away with each snip of the scissor. I can not wait to play around with more androgynous looks this summer. After all, everyone needs a bit of a change sometimes.

Girly in Light Blue

For a little while now, I've been obsessed with American Apparel. It may be due to the fact that I recently just discovered it only 2 years ago, but I just can't help myself. Their clothing is so simple, consisting of mostly basics, but pairs really well with other pieces and looks even more fabulous when paired with all other things American Apparel, which was the inspiration for this look. Thankfully for me, the warehouse isn't too far from where I live and allows me to purchase their clothing at a discounted price. At the end of the day, I'm all for trendy and affordable clothing. I'd say it's worth it.
